Learn & Create with Moving Memory Dance Company

Young dancers have the chance learn and create with community-focused Moving Memory Dance Company.

Learn & Create with Moving Memory Dance Company

As part of the ART31 Radical Roots Festival, Gulbenkian is giving young dancers (age 16-25) the opportunity to work with professional and community-focused “Moving Memory Dance Company” to create and present an intergenerational dance workshop.

Moving Memory Dance Company create inspiring dance experiences that allow people of all ages to enjoy self-expression through contemporary dance. Young dancers will learn about facilitating dance for all ages and abilities, and they will use their own experiences to create choreography with Moving Memory core members.

Learn and Create with Moving Memory Dance Company involves two intensive sessions at the University of Kent. The young dancers will then lead a workshop open to the public for the Radical Roots youth arts festival. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to gain experience in teaching dance and working alongside a professional dance company with a difference!
