This Summer we wanted to get out and about, travelling across Kent to experience the best festivals and events happening across the county.

We called out for young people to take over our Instagram at events they were either involved in or were going to experience, and had a fantastic response.

Thanks to everyone involved, we’ve been to the Kent County Show, Ashford’s Create Festival, The Summer of Love at bOing! Family Festival and even as far as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

Here’s our round-up of the best bits of ART31’s Summer travels:

We started with a takeover by Tunbridge Wells’ Assembly Hall Theatre, who took us to the Kent County Show

Then we headed east to Ashford, for July’s Create Festival

Look at all of the #CreateHeroes in full swing! #DavidBowie #BowieTribute #ChangeKent

Next up was a special trip as our Youth Board headed off to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to see loads of shows (look out for their reviews here)

First proper day in Fringe, off to see the show Once! 🚍 #fringefestival2016 #changekent

August Bank Holiday was really busy – we programmed and ran our very own Summer of Love ART31 Stage at bOing! Family Festival in Canterbury

Then we headed to Music For Change‘s Global Sounds Festival on Bank Holiday Monday, staying in Canterbury

Finally, Beautiful Town Music took us to Folkestone Harbour Arm for a chilled weekend of music to end the Summer

Is there something coming up this Autumn that you’d like to take over our Instagram for? Get in touch and let us know about it!
