INVITATION TO BID FOR “SEED” FUNDING

East Kent Cultural Education Partnership funding, offer three pilot opportunities of £3,000 each!

INVITATION TO BID FOR East Kent Cultural Education Partnership  “SEED” FUNDING

The East Kent Cultural Education Partnership (EKCEP) is delighted to be able to offer three pilot opportunities of £3,000 each to support the partnership’s strategic goals for 2018. These priorities and projects will help to inform our plans for 2018/22.  We are inviting bids from collaborations or consortia of relevant arts and cultural organisations and their partners, for one or more of these pilot opportunities. The EKCEP is particularly keen to receive proposals that give young people the opportunity to take the lead and would encourage organisations to clearly demonstrate how committed they are to embedding youth-led practice within their work as part of their bids.

For all the supporting information and if you have any specific queries relating to the projects or the application process, please email your questions to lucymedhurst@artswork.org.uk

East Kent is defined as Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Shepway, and Thanet. Please indicate where you plan to work within the geography.

Bids will be assessed according to the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrates alignment to EKCEP strategic goals and priorities as detailed in the EKCEP plan and project brief. Articulates what will change as a result, for the organisation/young people/EKCEP.
  2. Demonstrates how partnerships will be further developed to support the aims and objectives of the EKCEP, and how the project will be sustainable, including embedding evaluation from the start to be able to continue learning beyond the life of the project
  3. Children and young people’s voice is at the heart of what is proposed and is well represented
  4. Demonstrates clear understanding of need and identifies geographical priorities
  5. Complements other activity locally (rather than replicating)
  6. Demonstrates good value for money

We have allowed for up to a year for delivery of these projects, but you should indicate your delivery timeline in the project description. All project reports should be completed no later than 31st March 2019.
